# High Level Process for Implementation

1. **Login to staging environment to begin interfacing with the API **
   1. Voltage will invite you into staging environment during Kickoff call
2. **Outline required API methods for your implementation**
   1. Refer to [Implementation Cheatsheet](docId\:NAsb_IK0S9Pw-4IVg4PqF) for required methods for standard payments flow
   2. Refer to [LND API Methods Overview](docId\:Ua75_VnB_GnEFNKsNdyoy) for orgnaized list of LND methods
3. **Setup interface with Voltage**
   1. Acquire your API endpoint and Macaroon (permission token) from the Voltage dashboard
   2. Implement REST interface for all asynchronous methods
   3. Implement GRPC or Websocket interface for any synchronous methods
4. **Implement required API methods**
5. **Test your implementation**
